Sea of green, or bigger fewer plants?

I have a 1000w hps on a light mover with a 6' track. Would I get a greater yield using a sea of green technique with a bunch of small plants, or have larger plants? I have another 250w to keep mothers under and a cloning machine. I am growing in soil. Any opinions?

from what ive seen, I would say go with a medium amount of medium sized plants that you have topped. If you've got a 1000w on a 6ft mover you're covering some area,
what I personally would do would be go for medium height bushy plants and do a little less than small plants but a litter more than big plants... but thats just me,
