Scrog help ;)

Medical Indoor Scrog grow 8 ball kush CFL'S
They are nice and healthy about 10 inches long im setting my screen in about 11 inches.. as other plant is couple inches shorter.
Basically i understand the scrog method but im confused on how you start the 1st main node through the screen. does one let it grow through the screen (3-4 inches i read?) then bend it over and under and then just keep threading it around?
Wudnt this hold the rest of the plant underneath down? Dont the nodes underneath need to come through? or does that all get removed and new growth starts above canopy?

Should you let it grow through more thn 4 inches say until the underneath nodes are kinda through?

I wouldnt thread it. just let the plant grow through the screen. some people make like a half pipe to introduce a supercrop style scrog. good luck and post some pics when you run them!

You want to keep the plant under the screen with lst and training and let the nodes shoot up towards the light and above the screen so the bud sites get maximum light
