Whatever is easiest at the time. Its harvest, it's not going to matter to the plant lol an most people scrog differently so what works for me may not work for you. Sometimes what worked for me last time work even work for me next time! When using the scrog method. What do you do with the trellising when it comes time to harvert
the grow? Cut it out of the canopy or pull the stalks through when clipped?
Lol I hung a whole plant once. What a pain to trim....never again lolI always wanted to just cut the stalk and flip the screen and hang it whole.
I dont have room though
Makes sense now that you say it.Lol I hung a whole plant once. What a pain to trim....never again lol
Oh... more then you could imagine lol.Makes sense now that you say it.
I see how it could suck just a bit.
You cut off a branch at a time, cut it into sections an get to work... what's so hard about that?Lol I hung a whole plant once. What a pain to trim....never again lol
All the fans were still on.You cut off a branch at a time, cut it into sections an get to work... what's so hard about that?
How Does the fans being on affect anything? All the fans were still on.
I don't wet trim I dry trim. And I grow outdoors...not ounces but pounds per plant. So the fan leaves were left on and made trimming a pain. Of course I cut it into sections.I hung whole plants several times... never had a issue trimming them... you cut off a branch, cut it into sections, get to work, repeat. I'm really confused where the issue is unless you then tried to literally hold the whole plant an trim it from your hand.... and that would be literally impossible for most people, as most people harvest over a qp per plant.
Same. I guess I just don't see how it's hard still... I've known outdoor growers who crop in the 100-150 lb range and the only way to go is to hang the whole plant in the barn. It's just how its done...I don't wet trim I dry trim. And I grow outdoors...not ounces but pounds per plant. So the fan leaves were left on and made trimming a pain. Of course I cut it into sections.
For smaller plants if you took off the fans no I do not think that would be hard.
Last season I used big round support cages, and during harvest, I'd chop the stalk, then flip the cage and carry it wholesale to the porch. They were just barely tall enough to keep the weed off the ground.Lol I hung a whole plant once. What a pain to trim....never again lol
