Hello all! Welcome to my first indoor grow and first grow diary
I've been waiting a long time for this and finally i've got things up and running.
So, I had 1/5 Misty seeds germinate, i intentionally attempted seeding 5 because these seeds came from
a random market stall in Amsterdam, and the packaging was very basic and not very descriptive.
Anyhow, 3 feminized Bubba Kush seeds have germinated with incredible speed.
The setup:
1.18mx1.18mx1.9m closet grow.
Doors have been clamped open to produce the space.
1 x 600w HPS cooling system - will be getting a 250w cfl soon, and ill throw that in too.
Extraction: RVK L1 150mm with a rhino filter 150/300mm
Intake: RVK A1 150mm
2 oscillating fans
Using Bio Bizz All-Mix soil, and have canna flores and veg for nutes.
Pictures!
Setup:
Thing in this photo look messy, it's more cleared up now
From the left: Bubba 1, Bubba 2, Bubba 3, Misty Original
I will be scrogging these, have all the equipment ready to build it!
At the moment everything seems to be going okay, only issues are: light leaks, negative pressure, carbon filter placement and humidity.
I've tried to close up every gap for the light leaks, but little corners still emit some light.
The negative pressure thing annoyed me as i was assured that the fans would create negative pressure. I was
initially going for 125mm rvk for intake but the store dude advised me against it. Got kinda hustled. Oh well!
To fix the negative pressure, i taped a little bit of foil tape on the intake ducting to block the air a tiny bit, this made a big difference.
And after researching i figured that it won't stress the fan too much.
The carbon filter is heavy! And im simply afraid to hang it up as it may just snap and drop on the plants, i'll need to figure out a way to get it mounted up high. It would really benefit the ventilation too..
Humidity is my biggest problem! When i wake up it's usually around 15%. Which is too low! I put a cold wet towel in the room to create some humidity,
it seems to work but i have to wet it 2-3 times a day. I also spray water on the little guys and in and around the grow room to raise it. I can get 40% humidity but it doesn't last long at all.
Anyways, sorry for the ranting! Hope you guys enjoy this and i'd really like some advise or any useful info!
