Cool shit, Pad! It'd be great to have one out on summer evenings, hundred of little laser bursts and little puffs of smoke all around. Better than the zapper, which I've always liked ;)

Give us in the South a million of these lasers... PLEASE! It's not even June and I'm already so chewed up.

I've been trying different things to add to stagnant water around my house that would kill the larvae. So far I've tried gasoline, sodas, citruses, and multiple other alcohol based aerosols with no luck. We have trucks that drive around at night about once every few weeks that spray our area.... with no luck either.

Is there even a worthy place for them in our circle of life? What's their purpose?

all the spraying they do is what makes the mosquitoes so awful in our areas...the mosquitoes have to be born able to fend off the poison...I for one don't want to see hordes of mosquitoes that are impervious to laser fire...lol....

Tadpoles are your answer to how to remove the mosquitoes...tadpoles and fish...fish eat the larvae...and also just getting rid of the standing water...and if your southern place is anything like mine that is easier said than done...We have a lot of red clay, and thusly we have lots of places that just won't drain...so I have started throwing all the random weeds I pull out of the veggie garden into the puddles...and I have almost overgrown one enough to where the water is drying up....

They also make the mosquito larvae poison chunks that you just toss in the water...but they don't do shit to these unpoisonable mutant mosquitoes...nature finds a way to keep harassing us...Then again I feel like if we could truly control things the way we like that the wholoe earth would collapse...

You could try putting out lots of kerosene and citronella burners, to just try and keep them away from where you are when you are outside as well...

They are a bitch...especially if you live in an area where they spray...because like I said they aren't bothered by poison anymore.

Yeah I live in muggy, humid, perfect living area for mosquitos South Carolina... the Lowcountry to be exact, and right on the coast. It's awful man. My yard is pretty densely shaded too so it makes it worse by not letting any of the water evaporate. Deeper in the woods around here we have this "breed" (i guess it's a different type of skeeter), that everyone calls Tiger Mosquitos.... JESUS A CHRIST! They're at least double the size and the kicker is their bite actually feels more like a sting. It HURTS!
