I disagree, that has nothing to do with it being a better spectrum of light. Better is a broad term when discussing cannabis. I grow for yield. Led lighting at this time, is a joke compared to hps. I would try lst instead of breaking the stalks. If you slowly bend it and lay the shoot sideways without breaking the cells it will cause the plant less stress and achieve same goal. Good luck
I'd say it's a PAR intensity. Plants always lean towards the most favorable lighting source.

This statement is not quite accurate, though there are many panels out there that are big pieces of junk....you should visit the LED subforum
Good hps growers can pull 3 pounds per thousand watt now a days...and the light setup is 450 bucks for the very nice kits. Unless you have a closet grow and are playing around.. Led is not efficient.
It really hasn't been until recently that LEDs have improved enough, but Apache Tech puts out a legitimate 1000W replacement..I think it uses 600W....but they are expensive. However the reduction in heat and electricity will pay for the light soon enough.
