First grow please help.

Problems started when flipped to 12/12

400 watt mh
1000 watt hps

ph was off got ph kit 1 week in.

1st week all the tops of my oldest girl seemed a little light in color. And oldest leaves started getting spots and dieing.(gave first bloom nutes)

2nd week added new soil in new pot under old pot. Added veg fert. Botanicare cns17 3-1-2 only into the bottom pot.

Looked better a few days later the tops returned to green. but two more girls started yellow on top buds and oldest leaves dieing.
two different girls started getting purple spots/crunchy dead spots on lower fan leaves around where the fan was.but not yellow tops?

Switched to 1/2 veg 1/2 bud nutes
Bud nutes- MG 10-52-10 mixing at half of recommended dose for indoor.

They seamed to be getting better but yesterday after two watering of only ph 6.5 water i mixed up half dose of both nutes and fed them.
Plz help. its week 2 day 6 and i dont know what else to do. I thought they wanted nitrogen but i dont know any more.

First, I am not an expert on deficiencies. But, they look very light green (hard to tell from the lighting). Your veg nute seems way lower strength than your bloom nute. Maybe try just using a dilute solution of your 3-1-2 with no bloom. Are you adding a magnesium supplement? Looks like they could be hungry for it.

That browning in the middle of the leaf looks like a micro-nutrient deficiency but I can't place it with conviction.

What kind of medium do you have them in? Are they staying overly moist? Make sure the medium is drying out sufficiently before watering them and if in soil only fert every other watering.

first thing i would recommend is takin them out and looking at the rootball up close, focused, for 1 minute, is there anything crawling around? are the roots wrapped around them selves, are they white or brown.

EVERY NOOB GROWER THAT POSTS HELP PICS OF THEIR PLANTS SHOULD INCLUDE A PICTURE OF THEIR ROOTS and LOOK at their roots first.

are you running both lights on them if so you might try turnning of the 1000watt for a day or two and see what happens. Also how close r your lights? Some strains need more light in veg. than others. 18' to 30' is good. put your hand over the tops of your plants if in too hot to leave your hand there then they are to close. hope this helps and good luck. im going to look this up.

I'm losing count on how many times you have fed them in the past 3 weeks. That should tell you something.

You have a nutrient lock out from excessive feeding, compounded by over watering. The purple striping on your stems indicates your potassium is not getting through yet you gave them potassium, so it must be locked out. It is not just PH that locks out nutrients, over feeding will as well. The burning dry leaves are also a strong sign of over fertilization.

That's the best guess I can give you. I think you have multiple things going on. Those rust spots could be a fungus, pest, or nutrient issue. Scope them to rule out fungus and pest.

do u have air circulation in there? i have seen leafs like that on my current grow,from leafs sitting on top each other,touching and being wet from touching,within a couple days they looked like your pics,i added small fan,no more problems,and what the other guys said is true also,to many nutes,if your growing in soil you dont need so many nutes,the other growing methods are differnt,get some good air flowing and cut nutes off

my oldest girl was definitely root bound. roots curled all the way around the pot. roots were pure white. Thats why i cut the pot and added another under. The roots were at the bottom pot in a week.

They are very light green. sorry about the light they outgrew my entrance zipper so i cant pull them out into reg light. So your said finish them of with the veg nutes? i never had a problem in veg exept a few mites that mighty wash killed first application. Im not using any suppliments. wanted to use the min. first time. Im using Sunshine mix #4 for medium. watering about every 4 days

Im only running the single 1000 18 inches away.I can put my hand on the glass and it isnt that hot so i dont use that method. maybe i need to raise it higher?

Loosing count? sorry i must of explained it bad. I had to retype three times. My stem has been purple from clone is that bad? Its suppost to be blueberry skunk doesnt that run purple stems sometimes? I was using the veg nutes every watering at 1/8 strength with no problems. my biggest girl was two months in veg(LST) The day i went 12/12 i added the bud nutes. then water for the rest of the time at correct ph because they were going yellow. have only been using water till yesterday because they seemed to be getting better when i mixed both nutes at 1/2 strength.when i did the pot under the LST one she was getting better but why? root bound or shitty MG nutes? Mighty Wash is known to give plants fungus but i washed it off three different times with water and i did it before 12/12 shit now im worried.

passive intake and box fan moves all the leaves a little but its only on when the light is on.(i agree i think the flower nutes are hurting them!!! i didnt like the idea of using mg in the beginning) But dont they need to eat? Do i need the box fan on all the time? it gets a little cold at night and the fan might make it worse?

Everyone points to frying so that must be it? Two weeks and 6 days on only water no ferts. WTF

maybe stick with only water? Should i flush them? cant really pull them out but might be able to bring in something to catch the water.

I just dont think its too much nutes. Three of them only got flower nutes once!!!(clones got a little big) there not yellow on top and look like they have a little bigger buds but they developed purple spots and then the edges started dieing a little. The green leaves kinda feel crunchy/tough? The three that are yellow on top and the bottom leaves dieing did get the veg and flower nutes. But still only got the flower nutes once then water till they looked better. Maybe give them a few days to see if 1/2 and 1/2 mix will imrove or hurt? They just looked bad so i gave them water they looked better then not. so i feed them. I need to take better pictures the ones i took are only of three i think. i will get all of them taken tomorrow.

Three yellow top(but turned green again) and older leaves dieing. 1 LST. 1 super crop(snapped a few spots) 1 natural

Two green top bigger buds but bottom leaves have purple spots then leave dieing. all natural. (had fan blowing on them moved the fan)

Three a week behind. Leaves are going a little light with a hint of purple on the outside parts of the leaves. On the side of the leave ripples? I will take more time to take pics. Lollipoped (trimed all bottom growth)

Or just go with a A/B base?
I was thinking the Humboldt nutrients master A&B good/bad? Will that work with no additives?
I knew the Miracle grow bloom booster was a chance but thats all i had at the time. kinda pissing the investor off(if u know what i mean)

So three weeks today. And im getting more worried.
Should i finish with my veg nutes?
Should i dump the MG and buy the nutes i want to use and use those instead?
Should i just throw everything away and start over?
Help Plz.I just dont think its nute burn unless the mg is just to crazy of a diff between veg nutes?

I didn't mean to suggest finishing them with veg nutes, just to bump the nitrogen for a short period to see if it helps. If it were me I would drop the MG nutes.

Keep in mind that Botanicare makes CalMag. They make money by selling you all the different parts of a complete nutrient profile. I know you said you wanted to avoid additives but if that is the case I would use a fert that is complete. It needs to have enough calcium, magnesium, iron, sulfer etc to give the plant all it needs.

Epsom salt won't hurt your plants. Try 1/2 tsp (dissolve in some hot water first) to a gallon of water and watering that in next time.

I was thinking of using epsom salt but didnt want to change a bunch of variables at once. Thx i will do that next. So drop mg and use veg with epsom in between?
Do you have any suggestions for a complete fert?
