Hey RIU peeps. Got a femenized Samsara El Alquimista as a freebie seed from attitude in a 1 gal pot and trying to get some info on the strain. From what I know it's AK47 crossed with an heirloom strain of blueberry. Can't decide if I want to transplant it to a 5 gal pot or just keep it small as a sampler strain.

There are zero smoke reviews on this strain anywhere! Has anyone smoked it?

I got that freebie as well. Didn't grow so well for me. It never really flowered chopped it after like 12 weeks with 10 pistils. Could have just been a bad seed so take it for what it's worth.

10 pistils after 12 weeks!!! Good God man!!! Definately a bad seed there.

Hey Lax, have you smoked/grown this before?

Yeah it was funny. It came with some White Widow I ordered. I through it in with the WW grow. I was chopping WW before I saw pistils on this thing. Beatiful healthy looking dark green plant with zero flowers. It got the Axe. This Spicy White Devil however, (Blueberry X Jack Herer) is looking to be a top producer. If it smokes like it looks, it's a keeper.

no, havnt grown it. have bunch of samsara freebies lying around...

If i pop freebies, i make them small. my view is, dont need some unknown taking up space in my garden. If its really good shit, I reveg. (although i did just veg a g13 sour ak freebie to a 2.5ft bush, lols at me) it sounded really good though.

I say. if you think it sounds fantastic, veg it longer and see what happens. a few more weeks of veg is worth it considering how long cannabis plants take to finish. also, depends on space and plant limits.

I think this strain is a cross between AK47 and Northern Light, not Blueberry. The other freebie seed, Spicy White Devil from Samsara is a cross between Jack Herrer and the original Blueberry. My El Almquista was slow to get flowering. It is almost finished and has nice hard bud. I tried some a week or so ago and it had a real happy high. However the one that impressed me was the Spicy White Devil. Nice fast producer with excellent high.

Your right mike, it was Northern lights. I read a strain review somewhere that had said it was blueberry but their site definately says it's Northern. An Alaskan medley either way hehe.

Probably gonna keep it in a 1 gall and LST. I still have a Moby Dick and Great White Shark that I'm waiting to show sex. If both are fems I'll keep the Alquimista in the 1 gal, but if one is male (or both) I'll have to give it a try in the 5 gal.

So far the growth is very healthy but slow in comparison to all the others. I've gotten an ounce out of 1 gal grows in the past so either way I should end up with a decent amount of bud.

I've got one growing now that's been flowering for 3 weeks. I also got it as a freebie with an order for some World of Seeds autoflowering strains. The AK47 threw me off and I had been under the impression that it was also an autoflower, (What can I say? I was stoned.....I'm always stoned.... lol). Anyway, she's definitely throwing off the pistils now. And it's outgrown the pot I have it in. She almost looks sad. There's still new growth going on and it all looks good. I'll toss a couple of pics up too. :peace: :eyesmoke:

Hey thanks spont. Looks like a sativa heavy phenotype you got there. Mine definately has a little more indica to the mix. I'm guessing she started stretching a lot once she got into flower? How long did you veg and what is your current pot size?

Well, as it turns out the Moby Dick I was waiting on is actually a feminized seed so it's gonna get the upgrade to the 5 gal. pot this weekend. I'm gonna grow this lady out in a 1 gal under a couple T12's. I've smoked both AK47 and Northern lights so it shouldn't be anything new to me but I still cant wait to sample

I topped it and let it veg to 18" tall it's been flowering for 20 days and it's looking good plenty of bud sights. 27" tall and 16" wide[/FONT]

Happy Holidays!! My lady is definitely heavy on the sativa end, though I'm not complaining. She's in a 2 gallon pot and is now just under 4 feet tall. Side branches up the wazoo!!! I let her veg for 5 weeks, (remember that I originally thought it was an auto flowering strain). Once I put her under 12/12, she really started to grow!!! I'm pretty much exclusively an Indica grower, but this plant, I believe, is going to be an incredible producer. She's packing on the pistils......I love getting up in the morning just to go look at the changes that took place while I was sleeping. Sorry to babble on. BTW: How's yours going???!!! :leaf: :peace:

Hey Spont, happy hollidays to you as well! It turns out the the Moby Dick I was waiting to show sex is actually feminized so it got the upgrade to the 5 gallon pot (I could only fit three, the other two are red dragon). The El Alquismista is looking suuuuper healthy. It isn't a quick vegger by any means but it looks VERY healthy and definately indica heavy. I lollipopped her in a 1 gallon pot and supercropped the main stem a couple times to keep her short. I hope to get one, nice fat khola out of her to sample. I've done this in the past and ended up with around an ounce per pot.

Right now I have three big girls in big pots under a metal halide and in an opposing closet I have three small ladies under CFL's. Those are my samplers hehe:weed:. Here's a recent pic of her, she's around three weeks old.photo5.JPG

Not sure if anyone's subbed in to this thread but I thought I'd post a recent pic for the heck of it. I'm at day 14 of flower and so far I think there are more bud sites than leaves hehe. I decided to upgrade from the 1gal pots to 3 gal. I was gonna just grow it out as a little sampler side-grow but it was looking too good too early to hold her back.

Does anyone know an average flower time for this lady? The strain review just says "short" flower period.

that fucking alquimista is a tall bitch no matter what lights was used she wants to grow tall and node spacing sucks balls
spicy white is one of the favs thats running very tight and compact and once trained grows very well

Not much stretch for me as I vegged in a 1 gallon pot and transplanted just before flower. Right now it's only about 2.5' tall. Judging from some of the other guys here who have grown it, it has a sativa heavy pheno too which always seem to stretch.
