Salvia Harvest

when you are growing salvia divinorum when do you harvest it? also when you do, which part gets you high, the green leaves or the purple leaves? finally does anyone know if salvia may night gets you high

All the leaves on my sally is green, you need to grow quite a large bush (which it does if you give it a large pot).
It is evergreen so there is always something to harvest, but you need alot (22 leaves) for a chewed dose. (you don't have to swallow).

i got my plant from arena ethnobontanicle's (probly spelled it wrong idk) it was a little expensive about 54$ with the shipping just for a baby. when i ordered it i was scared because it dident come untill a month after i ordered. i can say their legit just takes a while to come the plant is about 4 months now but it doing fine. if you do order one i would suggest letting it chill in the box without opening it for a day so the plant isent to stressed. also after you take it out try to get rid of as much dirt that the plant came with for it has a couple of nasty little bugs that will defintaly mess up your harvest and your bud (if your growing any), so it is best to try to get rid of those before you re-pot it into a bigger one. if your wondering about a soil i would just say to use miracle- grow just be shure to put it in the oven for about 2 hours on 350+ to kill any stuff living in it. (that should solve any nat/other bug problems). i hope this info helps you in your decision if you want to grow it or not.

yes, im into exotic plants. I have read about a few other species of plant that I just want to grow. Eventually I would like to have a nursery going. I would also dabble in the more exotic tree variety's out there also.
