Salt in soil??

i got some basic potting soil, the ingrdients were soil, some bark, perlite and vermiculite. buti look close and on the soil looks like salts. like salt i would put on my food.

??? The soil looks like salt? Perllite kinda looks like salt..but it is usually bigger..

did you taste it?

LOL. ITt's good to have a laugh after the night i've had, anyway

i guess it could be from the perlite/vermiculite i was just wondering.
i would hate to be the guy that gets a bag of cocaine that was smuggled laced with potting soil.

and no i didnt taste it LOL
