Deficiency means not enough and adding cal-mag is the typical fix. Your water makes a difference too. If you're using tap water, there is usually calcium in your tap but you still may need to supplement with cal-mag. If you're using RO water, you definitely need to provide enough calcium between your regular nutrients and cal-mag.

I can tell you this I have extremely hard water and we have calcium buildup on everything in our house between our pots and pans shower heads Etc

I keep it between 6 and 6.5 in every water.... my water is normally at a seven without adjusting it when I add nutes it drops it to a 6.8 and then I dropped it a little bit more 2 between 6 and 6.5 is usually where I start to water but my water is extremely hard like my humidifier leaves a white dust in my room on everything because of the calcium in the water are shower heads or solid white pots and pans have white rings in them we have extremely extremely hard water

My soil ph is reading 5.8 how to I bring it back up??? I don't think I need calmag cause like i said I have large amounts of calcium already in my water cuz I have hard water I think I'm in nutrient lockout I think I was watering and I was lowering the pH in my water a little bit too low not paying attention just measuring out the same amount each time and not actually testing it before watering because with my little tester cup I'm just used to using the same amount of PH down to bring the pH of my natural water down but I think it was bringing it down below 6.5 and that's what made the pH in my soil drop and I think I'm in nutrient lockout what do I do

I usually got to use 5 ml of pH Down per gallon to bring my water from 7 to 6.5 but I got a feeling I might of lowered it too much without paying attention and that's why my soil is reading 5.8 and I got a feeling I'm in nutrient lockout so what's the next step

I used to test every gallon after I put my nutrients and pH Down and nem but I got so used to the remedy that I just stopped testing each gallon and figured it was on point because I was using the same measurements every time but I guess I was wrong and I need to go back to testing every gallon that I make before use

If it’s not calcium look into phosphorus deficiency. I recently dealt with this and a few thought calcium but it was phosphorus. My veg nute is like 4-2-3 or something. Not enough P.

Flush at 8-9 ph, and it should bring it back up to the mid to upper 6's

I doubt it's calcium deff unless there getting to much calcium cause we have so much calcium in our water I have to cover everything in the grow room with plastic because the humidifier will dust everything with white my shower heads are solid white anything that water comes out of is white my kitchen pots have white rings in them we have huge amounts of calcium in our water where I live anyways I got it back on track it was a pH issue
