Running out of room at 4wk flower

I am growing 5 Kali Mist by serious seeds, i got them through attitude seed bank, gotta love them:mrgreen:. i got 10 regular seeds, planted them all and found that 4 were female and 6 were male, then i found the perfect female and cloned it.... thus coming the the hydro setup, a 5 planter deep water culture, with 2, 600watt quantum digital ballast and hoods. the room itself is L=9' W=2.5' H=9'. this is where i come to a problem, i may have let them veg a little too long and now they are huge and are getting too tall.

any other growers deal with this problem?

Yea if you were using soil you could transplant and bury them deeper to get some head room but your using hydro. Might want to switch to a cool tube so you can get the light closer without losing all your headroom till they are done. You can make one pretty easy. Other then that I dont know what else you could do.

i could move my light up another 8" but is that enough, right now i have my lights on their own cooling system, what if i got a bigger fan so move air is moving thru the lights allowing the plants to get closer to the lights?

i couldnt agree with you more, and i had a sweet scrog layout. but there is no room to maintain it. the room is a little over 2 feet wide and 9 feet deep.

i think it may be too late for a screen they are already 6 feet tall and coming up on 6wk flower.

You could start training the cola's sideways, use some string and gently start pulling them horizontal. THat's about the cheapest way and you might even get more bud.
