I'm a noob, first grow, please be gentle.
So it's been four weeks since the first one sprouted. since then one of the plants has been pretty vigorous, the other not so much. I had been watering them at the same time, every 2 to 3 days. the one poorer plant developed these brown blotchy spots, which spread up the leaves, the lower set got them first and sort of crumbled away, then the next set up has gotten them.
My other plant seems to be doing okay, but it's starting to yellow from the bottom up. I am wondering how bad this is? what does it mean? what can i do to remedy it if anything?
So it's week 4, I water every 2-3 days, one day last week they got too dry and drooped a bit, I watered them and moved them into bigger pots. could this be a stress reaction?
I started watering last week with a small dose of bonsai fertilizer that has a balanced mix of NPK, and a ton of other stuff, copper zinc etc.
as of now I do not test the ph of my water, and it comes out of a fish tank, which I've heard is good for houseplants, but i should probably be testing the ph.
any ideas?
