Run Off Numbers

Just some thoughts.
You may have damaged roots, in flower the root recovery is almost 0.
Rule of thumb is 300ppm over what's going in for runoff.
Things really depend on your vpd. Dry side plants have to pull lots of moisture in if they can't use the nutes in it builds up and if gets too high will burn the roots.
I like coco but to me drain to waste is just that, a lot of waste. So I feed on the conservative side with little runoff. I'll give plants a good rinse every so often. Monitor runoff. If it gets above the 300 above feed. Cut back.
I just watered with nutrients at 80% strength and PPM run off was over 300-400. It’s probably damaged roots so I’m gonna end up chopping them and starting over

Roots don’t damage that easily. I run straight coco and my media ec gets up to 9 during end of stretch. I feed @ 3ec and don’t even bother checking my runoff (Its way more than 400 over). Plants will continue to grow roots into the first few weeks of flower. A severe dryback will damage roots but not nutes at the level you are feeding. Either your ph is off and you have a slight lockout or you are underfeeding. I’m guessing the latter because you have lower leaves turning yellow and being consumed (usually from underfeeding).

I did do a week of just ph'd water to get my runoff in check. Seems I'm over thinking the whole thing of checking runoff and going based off that.

Because your using coco that's boosted your run off figures would be off, even straight coco is not inert .

Personally , I'd skip the loco next time and use normal coco , then you know they need feeding every time. You know exactly what you're putting in.

Do I need to add perlite into coco or is there a bag already mixed? Got any brand recommendations? Temps are around 70 F. Bought Botanicare Clearex and was gonna try that out to see if that would fix any salt build up.

You can buy coco that's pre mixed with perlite or hydroton or just on its own.

I only use canna coco because it's high quality and readily available.

Temps are too low. That's why they are sad.
Turn your extraction down
