Rubbing raw hunny on stem

I get honey off an old bloke that has his own bee hives and sells raw hunny. He does nothing to the hunny so it's pure as it gets. He grows some good stuff and reckons by rubbing hunny up the main stems it gives the plant minerals and trace elements and possibly a good flavor. Been doing this and I'm not sure if it does anything or not but I always get killer heads. Could be wishful thinking but has anyone else heard of such a thing?
Cheers.

I know honey can be used as a homemade cloning dip

Becauae of its antimicrobial properties

But uve never heard of that one yet

You would think the honey would attract pests though

Yeah I never ussualy have problems with pests, the plant soaks it up pretty fast. I did once notice a few ants going for the honey but that's about it.

It would draw ants here, heck the ants come to drink water every time I water the girls, it is that dry outside.
