Rubbermaid grow- checklist and question on sealing?

I'm going to be making myself two rubbermaid grow boxes. After tossing around idea after idea, I have decided that these will be small and should be good for my indoor needs.

4- 30 gallon bins
2- 4 bulb vanity lights (might use a 3 bulb and Y adapters)
2- 120mm high cfm pc fans for intake
2- homemade carbon scrubbers with 2 high cfm pc fans for exhaust
1- bucket of white paint

I already have all of my cfl's.

I am looking into the size of 3 gallon square pots. If they are too big I will go with something smaller.

The biggest question with this whole setup that I have....how do you guys seal the top and bottom bins together so there aren't light leaks or issues with too much air escaping (don't want smelly air to escape)

I don't have a whole lot to offer, but I'm putting together a plastic box veg chamber. My only advice is don't cut corners with your boxes. I tried to save a little money and bought sterilite containers instead of rubbermaid. They let so much light through that I think I may have the world's largest nightlight in my attic. Get the thickest, darkest plastic you can get.
