rubbermaid and cfl

I need a little help with making my rubbermaid grow box. Ok I have 2 containers light fixture I got from home depot and some mylar paper . For the passive and exhaust I was going to get these little 5 inch fans they have at walmart will that be ok and could I put a charcoal filter on that for the smell. Can I possiibly go the whole grow in this container I don't want any heat issue and is there any thIng else I'm missing
