Well, thanx to all here on RIU, my first grow was a sucess, so here goes round 2. I germinated 24 seeds, and 22 out of 24 sprouted. Here they are under the floros until they are big enough to transplant and start the veg stage:
In a couple of weeks I'll transplant them into thier permanent 5 gal homes. I am putting the final touches on the grow area, insulation, ventilation etc. I have 10 400w MH and 10 400w HPS lights, but will probably onlu be using 4 or 5 at any one time. I'll "weed" out (no pun intended) all but the biggest, healthiest 10 or 15 plants for the home stretch. Here is the grow area so far. I am sucking hot air from the cieling area and venting it under the house. The fan in the pic is an 1100 cfm blower fan. I have another, much larger (2200 to 2600 cfm) fan, but I aint so sure I need it. It was cheap enough, so I got it anyway. If I do use it, I'll have to do alot of modifying to hook it into a duct system.
Not much exciting going on right now, they are just doing thier thing. I'll keep posting pics as they are taken. They will be when I transplant, and I'll take a few here and there occasionally throughout the grow. No need to waste bandwidth with daily pics. I'll be putting a few Ideas I had into play, and I'll post pics of that as well.
How does one start a grow journal?
I am growing more of the same bagseed I grew in the first grow. It turned out to be some MIGHTY FINE shit!!!
