Yes - worth it. IMO it's the easiest extraction method.
I make about 1.5g of rosin at a time it keeps fine in the freezer for the 3 or 4 days it's around.

Absolutely. I have the 4-ton from "DabPress" ($389 CDN)
Walmart has a couple of cheaper models.
Rosin pressing has a bit of a learning curve too......

well thats good to know thanks man ive been asking around just getting different opinions. were I'm from , not many people heard of rosin, let alone smoke some of it(never made or smoked myself either).so I guess, outta my circle of mates id be the only one that is going to produce the goods. unless there not telling me something lol.
we don't have walmart, so aliexpress it is. this is the one im gonna get, dont wanna spend too much on it. i was gonna bye one of those hand clamping presses, but they only have 600lbs of press.$290us delivered I've found on aliexpress.thats to nz,would this be sweet you reckon?

Are you on a limited budget? I'm not saying "don't get it", but it's small & lightweight, when you crank down on that handle the machine will want to tip, & a ham-fisted mofo like me would damage it pretty quick.
High grade parchment paper is a must (no wax coating to melt into weed).
You also should look at a pre-press mold, compacting the weed into a smaller mass makes for a better press.
There's a whole bunch of vids on youtube about rosin pressing, check a few out.

ye mate I've been watching them for the last couple days. I just want to get used to it first. might not like it, and so don't want to bye expensive gear. some people say those micron bags are no good, some say they are? pre press mold...roger.
another thing would you say if you had the same nug, would you be better off rolling a joint from it or smoking the rosin?if you get what i mean.

Smoking the joint.
After almost 50 years of smoking pot I have a smokers cough, by pressing & dabbing, or mixing the rosin in a joint I've reduced the cough considerably.
But there's THC left in the pressed chip, I save the chips & make infused coconut oil.
