Roots

I'm a new grower, using a General Hydroponics AeroFlo system, with coconut pots and clay stones. The plants I have are going into their 8th week of veg., and very healthy.

I guess my question is this: As the plants go into flowering, producing buds, do the roots need any additional support in the chambers to prevent the plant from tipping over?

Wow, 8 weeks of veg in the AeroFlo?! I would say it's time to flower, as in right now. That's a long time to veg in that system. You will most likely have problems with the plants toppling. Now would be the time to install a support trellis over the plants for them to grow through during flowering, for them to lean on when their weight increases dramatically. Or at least devise something that will support the plants in their holes.
