rooting hormone

Thanks to all the growers here. I've read and learned a ton, but here's a question I haven't seen addressed. Does anyone use a rooting hormone when planting seeds that have been germinated? Seems to be a logical thing to do to increase/improve root growth from the beginning.

I've never used what you describe and frankly, I don't feel such a thing is necessary. Keep it simple like nature. I prefer to not give ferts or additives until a seedling is rooted. For me, that takes about two weeks from germ.

I've grown all my plants (26 total 17 after weeding out the males) from seeds in dirt outdoors on my rear deck. I haven't added any ferts or nutrients of any kind, although with cold weather coming every night now, I'm thinking of getting some sort of bloom boosters to help size and speed. For the most part I agree, just let mother nature do what she does best.
