rooting clones

whats the best way to root clones.perferbly a at home macguyver setup.i have the rooting hormone i just need to know the specks on the grow area for them.also i heard the best time to clone is in the third week of vegi.

A humidity dome and tray are very VERY inexpensive and very good to have, make sure to get a high dome. Seriously, I paid $5 for mine. You could use two clear plastic containers, one upside down on top of the other and make your own. That will allow you to control the humidity and temp more effectively. If you want to spend a little extra cash a seedling heating pad helps a lot but it's not necessary. A single fluorescent light (tube or low wattage CFL) will be needed but don't give them too much light or it will stunt growth. Hope that helps...

so i shouldn't place them under my 1000mh light what about a shadded widow seal

NO WAY! 1000W MH is far too much light! Yes a shaded window should work fine, although I recommend artificial lighting so you can give them just the right amount and not risk exposure. A single tube fluorescent fixture and tube costs $15 at Home Depot, it's worth it.
