Root temperature using CO2

I am supplementing with CO2 and utilizing aeroflo2 system. I keep daytime temperatures at 85 degrees, therefore the nutrient solution is about the same.

Should I cool the nutrient solution with a water cooler, or do both the roots and tops appreciate the higher temperature when supplementing with CO2?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

not sure exactly but people use heating mats while cloning to help the roots grow a little faster

temps slightly higher would more ideal. but you would want you nute solution 10 degrees lower than your air temps. right now i would continue the way you are.
but i would try just adding some bottle of ice to your nute solution, ideally you want your medium cooler than the air.

temps slightly higher are moe ideal? 10* cooler for roots? 85* is reallymax you want to go, i set at 82* and 1100ppm co2. as for res temp, hell no. anytbing over 70 and you are asking for trouble. 66-67 is perfect for res. the heat mat somebody mentioned would be for clones only and still not needed, they like 74-76*. ifyou run aero long enough you will know the key is res temp and ph swings, control those and have a good enviroment and your plants will thrive.

I agree.. Water temps are crucial in DWC and Aero.. If you keep your water over 70 degrees you will introduce slime and root rot.. shoot for anything under 70 degrees and you can do this easily by freezing some water bottles and adding them to your res to keep water temps low, that or you can use a big ass ice chest as your reservoir.

If your running an air pump, the lower the temperature the better. Oxygen does't dissolve in water above 70F degrees very well and it goes down exponentially the higher the temperature is. I prefer to keep my reservoir at about 65F for soil and a little higher for Hydro. Too low and the plant will become stressed while loosing the ability to dissolve and absorb nutes so be careful. Adding a little Hydrgen Peroxide at about 10ml 3% H202 per gallon will add some more oxygen to the water while helping to control any algae or bacteria growth.
