so i spent some extra money on a feminzed seed of a potent strain because i was sick and tired of nurturing (usually mids) plants for a few weeks olny to find there male. this little girl is like a week and a half old and already im having a problem; the root is starting to poke out of the soil a bit. im woried that she might dry out some or catch cold. i can see that the root is kinda thick (for a baby) and starting to fork out new roots. should i cover them over with soil? or i read a forum that said to put those little clay pellets at the top of your plants, should i do that with a baby?

o and you might have notice i talk about my plants like a child? i read somthing about plant psycology that im going to make another post about

All day,

The roots are coming out of the top soil? Yes cover them up asap. Maybe water her a little more, let the water go deep. SO the roots will travel down after it. Like water one side and let it soak down.

definitely cover them dude, roots dont like light too much. Cover it with 10mm of soil, maybe covering the soil with tinfoil to keep light out till they grow downwards

10mm? i kno thats only a cm but i think that would over flow my little starter cup. rather than waiting for more advise, id better go try and steal some good soil and start sifting through it. its a cloudy day and at first i thought it would be bad for my little girl not to have alot of sunlight today but when i noticed those little roots sticking out, i knew it was cloudy for a reason
so ya i will havest some sure-pure soil asap and cover her over with as much soil as i can without worying about overflowing it when i water her
