root rot

hey guys, tried to grow auto flowers in a few bucket bubblers, just wondering how to avoid algea and root rot, i think the problem is the constant warm temperatures, i cant see any way of using this system with out using the seperate res and control unit which would be outside the tent. but the temp of the solution stays around 20c. i thought this was the temp they should be kept at.. every couple of days the buckets are full of algea. so am going back to soil seems a lot more forgiving.
but any thought are welcomed..

The bottles work great! Figure out what size bottle brings your temps down to 65 degrees. Do that once a day and you should be good to go! In my personal experience, you do not need to keep the temps lower 100% of the time. I have a chiller but I have one res that I use bottles on and I only put a frozen bottle in it ever other day!

thanks all for the help the temps are 65f about 19 or 20c might have to try some type of algae additive or reflective tape the fact that they are black buckets dnt seem to be helping..
