Room size and design questions

How big should the room for for a 600w light? how big should the room be for a 1000w light?

I need to make separate rooms, one for veg, the other for bud.

Are there any good videos or detailed instructions with pics that I can look at for ideas? I'll be using 2mil mylar that I got, but I don't want to mess up and rip it because it doesn't appear that strong.

you should shoot for 7000-10,000 lumens per sq ft. this is what the sun basically gives off. so lets say that your 600 puts out 80,000 lumens. so yur room should be 8-11 sq ft.

this being said, this is not the only factor that you should use. it is just meant to be a rule of thumb. hopes this helps you get started
