room for plant

i have about 3 foot tall of room,my plant plus pot it is in is getting so close it drys leaves on top even with fan on,how can i shorten it without moving it

Sea of green (sog) next time you grow. To little to late unless you really want to cut the top off (eeek!). I take it your growing in soil, Right? Try smaller pot next time or rockwool cubes. Is your plant in a closet? If so, can you remove the ceiling above to give you an extra few inches? Just a thought!
