What's up guys..

I just started my first grow and well..I'm pretty curious as how I need to work the ph and ppm of my solution. Do i just need to monitor the ph and ppm of my solution? Or do I need to be testing the ph of my rockwool as well. I'm thinking that the ph would change over time in it..Correct me if I am wrong.

rockwool is gonna have to be soaked for a few hours or overnight in ph balanced water. It comes i think very acidic. It might be basic. I think basic. I not clueless jut forget its been a while. After that snap the rockwool with yur wrist to get water out. Dont squeez. Rockwool needs air pocket to work. Then the rockwool will be neutral ph balanced and thus the ph of yur system. It comes "dirty" and by soaking it u clean it. I beleive thi is all true, i sorta a nub too.

yeah, as above, give it a few good rinses under the tap (Water) and shake it well, gets rid of most of the loose limestone, and because of limestone, soak it in pH 5.0 over night (i use bottled water), from then on add pH5.8 plain water untill the root appear out the bottom of the rockwool.

Yeah I did that part..I soaked it bottled water with a corrected ph of around 4.5 for about 10 hours. I've already put the plants in and everything..Just wondering if i need to keep checked the ph of the rockwool or do I need to just keep adding water that is about 5.6-5.8
