Morning guys,

hope your all well,

any recommends on rockwool, i brought some from a hydro shop and it was very yellow and did not adsorb the water very well. Is there a certain type i should buy online.

Also on a separate note, what is the best way to filter water or what water is recommended to water young seeds.

Last but not least i have the following lights http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-FLT2.../dp/B002JQBQZQ , how close should i have them at the start and how many bulbs should i have on, as much help on the germination as i can get guys

many thanks,
jager

I think reverse osmosis is the best way to filter water. Don't quote me on that.

Sorry I can't answer your other q's.

I just use tap water allow to sit for 24 hrs, ph'd of course, that light is the same T5 I use and have good results, comes with 6500K lamps for veg, then buy 2700K or 3000K lamps for bloom, here's a few pics of my recent grow, White Widow, they are 7 weeks 12/12, not sure why the rockwool doesn't absorb water, doesn't make since to me, the colour is normal, I soak mine for 2 hrs before use
