Rockwool for clones then soil?

ok, this is kinda an odd q here.

I'm a dirt bag. Can I take a cutting to clone, stuff it in a rockwool plug, then once rooted and happy, pop that plug into soil to finish it's life cycle?

I do plan on going to hydro, (only because it fits my lifestyle better) but not for a few more grows.

(on the hydro, is a bubbler or ebb and flow more beginner friendly. or whats the best for a newbie?)

i do it as well without a problem but if you want you can use a mix of perlite and vermiculite it works great for clones. Actually better than rockwool in my opinion. I think DWC is very noob friendly.

DWC is best cause you dont rely on any pumps and its simple. Rockwool to soil will work great. When your taking clones just make sure you squeeze out the extra water in the rockwool. I have 90 % success with it though.
