Rockwood cube clone to soil

Hey everyone,

So I took 6 clones and put them into Rockwood cubes. They all took and roots were coming out from the bottom. I put them into solo cups with soil. It's day 5 and they look fine. From the reading I was doing it would seem it's not recommended to use soil but rather go Hydro. I personally don't like growing in anything but soil so I did just that. In your opinion do you think this will be okay ?

Until I built an aero cloner/bubble machine/whatever you wanna call it, that's what I always did, just buried them right in the sunshine mix. Plants always came out fine.

BB,
You're just talking the 1" or 1 1/2" ones I assume. No problem. What you were reading...rockwool into hydro was probably referring to the water root vs soil root issue. It may take a short adjustment period...just a few days and the roots will accomodate the medium.

Bigger cubes can be an issue because they tend to either dry out or stay too wet depending on watering style.
