Ripped leaves or bugs?

Checked my plants this morning and discovered a few fan leaves were damaged, looks like more of a tear than something bitting it. I saw 4-5 knats in my grow space but covered soil with gravel for added measure. Was literally a few nothing to represent a infestation.

not bugs. sometimes leaves just get a little damaged.

The white spots look suspicious to me. I'd double check them with a magnifying glass.

My fan was a little high a few days ago, i moved it once i noticed. Just seen the rips today. Hoping its just damage from the fan. Thanks for the info

That's what I see as well. Slight deformities. I don't see any visible signs of pests.

Ill check. I added a layer of perlite to one of the pots. The dust sometimes flies around the space when i bump the pot. Sometimes the leaves get dusty lol
