Riot Seeds Success!

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that these guys are legit in every way and DO NOT hesitate to pull the trigger on any of their gear you have been thinking about. I say this because I have gotten the priviledge of working with Matthew Riot over the last couple weeks in getting my attitude order straight. I will say that there was a small problem with the angelfuck beans I got. Did not want to germ at all. Out of the pack I purchased, I only got one to pop. I figured that attitude got me the beans in a timely manner, so mine as well try getting in touch with the breeder before trying to hassel them about it. I sent an email to Matt about the circumstances, and with two hours had a response email out-lining a plan to make it right. I will say that he has followed through on his word, and then some! Matt made me into a return customer for life! He will do everything possible to right a problem, if one arrises. This is the kind of service I am after and will be giving more of his new gear a try in the very near future! NICE JOB RIOT! Anyone heard of his strain Shitski? I got a pack of those too from him but cant find any info on it. Looked at the strains of the past list on his website, as well as his current list and couldn't find anything on em. Maybe a new strain I get to test out? Forgive me I did also post this same message on Grasscity, but I just think EVERYONE should know how you can expect to be treated by our brother here in the US!

I don't think anyone ever questioned if you would get seeds or not I think the problem is his prices for untested strains. He popped up within the last year with over a hundred varieties and there is no way he grew out any kind of population of each strain.

Plus rumor has it, he used many pictures of plants that were not his. Heath Robinson and others called him out.

He needs to come clean about his business, and lowering his prices is also needed cause he is not yet proven.

I never thought for a second of not getting them. I ordered from attitude. They always come through! The problem I had: Not getting me beans to pop after getting them from the attitude in the mail 3 days before hand. He gladly took care of the problem and it is obvious he is TRYING to do the right thing for his customers who do want to try out his strains. Will definately let you guys know how these turn out!

Yeah but in all honesty the genetics he's mixing would be hard to go wrong if he's going off clone only strains and hybrids with defined strains. I would guess his strains would be a bit more rough around the edges requireing pheno hunting than other breeders, but I know it would be hard to get a bad plant given the genetics he's breeding with. course I could be wrong, but my guess is his stuff is very very good, but more risky than other breeders. but if he's serious 8 years from now he could be a major contender in the strain industry given his selection.

Word! Alot of his stuff are based off elites that we as seed collectors, dont have access to. So time will tell!

His breeding genetics reads like a who's who of the breeding world.. wow

My bad when you said "success" and you hadn't grown them out yet and even had problems germing the seeds I figured the only success you had was receiving the seeds. I don't really understand though, are you praising him because you bought some overpriced gear that didn't germinate and he corrected the situation? How are you going to say "Hey guys just wanted to let you know that these guys are legit in every way and DO NOT hesitate to pull the trigger on any of their gear you have been thinking about." when you don't even know the quality of the end product. Sloppily mixing strains together because their names have status doesn't mean that the offspring are going to be better than the parents which is what the breeder should aim for or they could just be watering down the gene pool.

Agreed, until properly grown, dried, cured and smoked can you say if a breeder is legit.

Wow seems like some people have some animosity towards him. Well imo he came through and MADE ME HAPPY! LOL! Too bad for those of you who arent. Why would I give the guy a bad rep for fixing a problem? He made it well worth my trouble. Sorry some of you really don't care. But if you guys are all bent about him for some reason, start your own thread bashing him. I don't care. I didn't mean to make this into a "your thoughts on riot thread." I made it into what it is. A guy that had a faulty product and he took charge and fixed the problem I had at this point. I feel by him doing that he is standing behind his product and gives me no reason not to spread a good vibe.

His product is faulty because he is a scam artist.

imo RIOT prices are WAY too high for a brand new seed company, with no grows online. I also dont like how he steals pics from reputable breeders and tries to pass them off as pics of his own strains.

He makes crosses with chocolate rain (which sells for 35$) and charges like 170$ for it, what the f*ck is that shit? that is a slap in the face to E$kobar of Breeders Choice who sells his Chocolate Rain genetics for a very fair price.

His tactics are just tacky.

Agreed, I've been reading a lot of bad things about mr riots tactics in aquiring his strain catalogue too. But that said I want to try his "Stormy White Cough" at some point.

You didn't just say that you give riot props for making something right. You said they were totally legit and said everyone should go buy his gear and you haven't even grown them out.

I call Bull Shit ! Attitude has been sold out of most Riot seeds since January, and no restocking has taken place since. Angelfuck has not been and is not available at Attitude since then. Nice try though.
On another point, I emailed him at his sight and he seemed straight up. I told him how Rushman Seeds rips people off consistantly and he replied in a favorable manner. I told him I mailed a money order as instructed, trackable even, and ordered a sample pack and a poster for $35. He got the money order, cashed it, and has not delivered. Straight up...right until he received the money..no more emails answered. I'm so bummed, sort of. It only cost me 35 bones and 20 minutes, instead of a whole crop cycle. thanks matt, you've saved me alot of time, money, and product embarrassment.
If I get my gear, I will retract, report, photograph, to the end. I am a man of my word.
