Revolutionaries and Leadership

Does anyone else feel that this country...That this WORLD is heading for the gutters more and more each year?

Globalization has already happened. When our country went from a manufacturing economy to all of our companies and jobs moving over seas; our economy became based on investments and finances. No need to elaborate...What happened when our 'economic crisis' happened? when the stock market basically collapsed? what happened in Japan and in France, around the world? They're stock markets crashed and bit and investors went broke. that's globalization...need I explain why?

But anyway - I forgot who, but one of the revolutionist from way back said, "When the banks take over the country, another revolution must take place." or something along those lines. Well...The banks have taken over the country, it's been that way for some time. Not to mention all of the other problems facing our country and this world...that advice should be taken.

does anyone here feel that if some brave people wanted to revolt against the government and the corruption...that they would join them? Would you be part of the revolution and stand up for your countrymen? Do you even feel that we need that revolution?

and my second question has to do with leadership. People argue whether leadership is needed or not in a situation. mostly sociologists. What do you think?

Would it take leadership and organization for a revolution? would we need one person to step up and say we've had enough so that others would follow? or are we capable of banding together on our own?

I'm just curious to see how you guys feel about the world today. I'm curious to know what you think has to change, what should be done to keep us from the dark roads we're heading down. just post your thoughts, anything you feel on these matters.

i think we do need a revolution. its time for the tail to stop wagging the dog...the government is ridiculously corrupt and its now starting to experience the wrath of karma. looks good on em. we need a revolution but i also think its important for the big banks and governments of the world to lay in their own shit for a while.

Yup. Politics forums.. many of us ready to go...

There's more of a reason now to start a revolution than there was in 1776..

Agreed, I think a revolution is definetly in place, the fact is and will remain that banks not only run our country, more so they run the world. I do no think the people need a specific leader for this revolution to occur, well, just one person needs to step up and rally the people, after that i think the people could lead themselves as one front. It's so hard to start anything when the media is so consistantlly manipulated by these big corporations; there could be a huge movement in one part of the country and the other part would NEVER know about it, this is how corrupt our nation is. I highly doubt that big investors would want us all to know of such a revoultion taking place, they would hide it, talk ill against it if it were to arise to the public and try at ALL costs to stop it. (JFK, MLK, etc.)---With peace in mind

I agree. If something starts up they're going to hide it at all costs.. for all we know the revolution could have already started somewhere in the country..

I'm sure leaders will evolve naturally out of the revolution.. I don't think we need them to begin with..but naturally some people will surge ahead and be respected by others.

I think everyone has their personal lines in the sand, and if they're crossed they will take action- everyone's line is different, and many will fall before it is the spark.. but someone's personal line will be breached, they'll fight back- and the rest will become enraged..Domino effect.. that's how I see things starting anyways..
