When I turn the water on going to the RO the pressure is quite high sitting around 90psi. Is this going to break the RO? How can I lower this down to a safer psi?

Are you on town water or have a well? Standard water pressure is around 60psi and it won't go higher because of your filter so that's your line pressure and if from a town/city supplier there's not much you can do about it. It shouldn't hurt the filters any and will give you faster output. With a well you can turn down the pressure in the control box connected to the pressure pump. Instructions in the cap.

I get my water from a dugout and my pressure goes up and down from 45-65 so I'm expecting rather slow output once I get my system all built soon. I could hook up my 60psi on demand pump but I won't be in that big a hurry for the water. I have a 150L storage tank I can fill for the grow room so can keep plenty of spare water on hand for the plants. It's a brine tank for our unused water softener but I have a potable tank too to keep drinking water on hand after it goes thru the UV and calcite filters.

:peace:

Does it have a booster pump added inline if so disable it and run off standard psi for either well or town some nice high end ro systems have booster pumps usually if you read into the manual there’s a way to disable it usually just a crimped connection that needs disconnected or it removed
