Reservoirs

I have a few questions about reservoirs. I was told I need a 100 gallon reservoir for a 6x6 ebb and flow hydro table. Is this correct? If so, How do I figure out how much water I will need to put into my reservoir to properly flood the table? The table will have 36 plants on it, one for each square foot. Plants will be in 6"x8" baskets. The sides of the tables(gutters) will be 7" high.

Last but not least, what are people using for these large reservoirs? The one's at the grow store are like $200. The biggest rubbermaids are only 50 gallon. What are some less expensive alternatives? Thanks for any help.

Not a hydro person or anything but a less expensive way would be to cut down on what your growing.

??? Rubbermaid, doesn't even make 100g anything. I need a big black plastic box, surprising I can't come up with anything...

It's crazy that the one's actually meant for growing are $200+ each!

But anyway, I haven't even determined that I need a 100g rez. That's the first part of my Q.
