Reservoir ph reads too high but sample reads right?

Hey there everyone,

So I recently started growing indoor and everything has been going great. Plants are healthy and I will begin the flowering phase soon. Before I started on my first grow I decided that I would do my best to not ask questions and just answer any of which I did via research. I have and currently work around them so I feel confident. So far any questions I have had youtube or google or forums have answered. I have also lurked around here for answers :P But this one just stumps me, tried researching it and am having troubles finding an answer. I am growing in cocofiber at the moment. I added a DIY drip system that is controlled by a digital timer and goes off 3 times a day. The resvoir is a small 12 gal black and yellow tote, the one everyone uses to store hemp :v I tested the ph when I made the first batch of solution and let it sit for a bit and tested a few times more to make sure it was consistent. The next day I tested and it was really high, 6.48, and I began to mix it with some ph down but was getting wierd readings depending on the location of the tote I tested with the ph reader. I decided to take a sample in a measuring glass shot thingy. And after a few ups and downs I finaly got a "just right" sample at 6.0(read a bit and saw a lot of good results at that level and the plants seem to like it.) Today I tested again in the tote and same, it was high. I then grabbed a sample from multiple locations of the tote. Stired a bit and repeated with obtaining more samples. All read 6.03 or .04. I grabbed a sample from the dispensed nutrient and still got the same. Why does it read so high and random while in the tote but remains the right ph in the sample and the dispensed?
