So im replacing my GARBAGE vivosun vent (shouldn't have bought it they refunded me a partial refund $55 of the $100 ) 4". I have my eyes on the "AC Cloudline T4" but I am not certain how I like the programmable features. I know they make a version that's not LCD / programmable but does anyone have experience with the unit. a lot of people are complaining about how the unit shuts off when it reaches desired levels.

Is there something else I should be buying? I've been using garbage until now and im done with garbage lol.

I use the cloudline T6 and I love it. Super quiet, I do not use the auto feature and have my fan running 24/7 with no issues. Depending on your tent size I recommend the 6”. If you don’t want the LCD the version the controller model works just as good. Benefit of the T6 for me is the temp/humidity probe. Seems to be more accurate than my hygrometer and I can position it right at the canopy level

I just bought a Vivosun 8" and the damn outlet is only 7 5/8" so the adaptor I paid $16 for doesn't fit properly. Mickey Mouse time to get it to fit.

Not impressed but on a low budget so the Vortex S series unit I wanted was too dear for my wallet. :)

Get the t6 it's the most efficient in line fan period.

Runs 52 watts max
8 inch runs like 200
Get 2-4 6's if you need that much air flow

I use a cloud line t6 for a 4x4 tent with 6 plants. I run it on auto, with humidity being the main threshold. I have the high set for temperature as well, but its set to come on at 86 and my tent rarely goes above 82-83. It has worked very well, anything over 30% sucks the tent walls way in, so i bought Gorilla Grow’s high CFM kit, now I leave the speed set to 60%. passive intakes. Does great with static pressure for those running carbon filters. I love it. I can’t imagine using a different fan at this point, unless somebody came out with a competitor to this fan that has more controls and/or remote access.
