Removing Males Roots and all - Advice needed

Hey, Now that i have males identified i have run into the issue of removing them. Right now the roots are just a tangled mess.
What is the best method for removing the males root and all without disturbing the rest [Females] of the roots. Is it ok to cut the roots as low as possible and leave some dead roots in the tank?

Searched the forum briefly regarding this and was unable to find what i needed.

Thanks!

Grump: you can do it, just separate them carefully. You might want to grow clones in the future so you don't have this problem again. Or, it's one way to get seeds for future crops.

i have done this b4, just be gentel and snip the males roots, try to leave as little as the male root in there as possable, but try to leave the females roots untouched. no worries.
