Removing healthy buds to increase airflow

ok this is gonna sound strange but bear with me

i have a grow cab with a huge extractor fan and a 600w HPS

i HAD 2 plants in it, 1 Euforia, 1 PPP
the Euforia grew like a monster, 90% sativa will do that. even drowning it in Bonza Bud to stop vertical growth didnt help enough.
so i moved my PPP into a cupboard under my 400W MH becuase the Euforia was overtowering it and it wasnt getting any light.

the PPP is very dense, part of the bonza bud treatment. It is so dense that its like a rainforest in there. the whole plant under the foliage is soaked. I have a fan on it, but it just isnt getting in there.

the ONLY way i can imagine getting any air in there is to cut off some branches with perfectly good buds. 2 more weeks to flower i think.

so do i risk waiting 2 weeks and hoping i dont get mold, or cut them now to get airflow going?

not happy :(

can you maybe tie some of the lower stuff either up or down to create some space? Or how about a small fan down low? i would try both before i started hackin. Good luck

yeah put more fans in there. use twine and gently tie branches apart and get some space in there. work from the bottom. the whole goal is to get a fan on bottom pointing up on an angle so it draws the water to the venting system

its already 4x as wide as it is high
i did what we call salad bowl topping. the effect is 4 main branches and a very wide low canopy
if i was in my normal cab with extractor fans i would be fine
all i have here is a crappy portable fan blowing on it from outside the cupboard
gonna be hard to get more fans in there / under it
the back half of the plant is leaning against the wall. It just wont fit in there with the door closed (during the day)
i guess i will just keep prodding around and see what i can achieve, dont want to lose the whole plant tho.

if you have to cut then cut. i actually cut all the lower growth thats being shaded 4 weeks into flower. i do a light trim 2 weeks in and then hammer em week 4.

if you get a uv b bulb from the pet store, ie repti sun,.. it will keep any mold from starting, and increase resin production,.. i have 2- 10.0 uvb bulbs in a 2 ft x 3 ft closet, the humidity around here is usually around 60 to 70 % and my fans pull air from under my house crawlspace through a hole cut in the floor,.... i have no mold

lol UVb to combat mold, never thought of that, awesome application
ive been meaning to buy one of them some time anyway :)

dont put it too close to the plants though, they'll get "sunburned" very easily,.... just get a pull chain socket and screw it up to the ceiling and leave it up there,

if ur ganna cut lower branches off then make clones..dont just cut it and throw away take off lower braches and make into clones... or tie down like other said

Get yourself a pc psu and as many 12V fans as you desire, cage them up so that its pretty much impossible to whack a finger (window screen would work), and tie some of them off to stalks right in the middle of that jungle..
Notice its hydro though, and that doesn't help with humidity.. What level is that sitting at??
BTW, Love the high-bay MH.. You shop smart..:) I used to get complete kits (except cords) for around $50cdn..

having looked further im not sure how much is wetness between the leaves, and how much is resin
its really bushy and damp tho
decided to ride it out for the next week, and just hope there isnt any mold, then panic if it does appear.
