Yeah, right. That's my first thought.

Are we to be so disassociated from our indoor grows that we need not not even visit the plants to switch ballast power? The built in timer is cool, but the remote will add, what, $100 to the cost of the system? Then add another $50 or $75 for the cost of the timer and real nice LED display?

if one is too lazy to plug/unplug the ballast, if it is not already on a timer. My goodness. >.< Plus.. a good digi ballast can run $400+ .. .what will this be. 800+ not including bulbs.

I actually like where these are going.
Price is key though, all that is worth MAYBE an extra $100 to be but no more. If it chains multiple ballasts into one remote then its a good design.
I like the built in watt reader too.

I see some serious potential with these guys if the price comes in right.

Any of these feature critical...naaaaaa, pretty cool though.

They are great ballest. I'm working on upgrading to them now. Well not with the remote. But think about it. If you have a large setup. Want ballasts up high and near the lights. How can you change things without a ladder? And for under 400 bucks for a 1000w sounds like a good deal. I just like there independent fireing. And best of all it test everything so if something isn't hooked up right or a mouse made lunch of your wires it won't turn on the light. Saving you from a fire that way.
