My plant is still veggin at the moment but my electric timer is playing up once again!!

this is the third timer ive bought that has stopped working. When I say stopped working i mean they stop keeping the correct time and often dont switch on or off.

For now its not so much of a problem because my plant is still vegging, but when I switch to flowering (which should be in a couple of weeks) it could be detrimental to my baby :-|

can anyone recommend a decent timer that wont fuck up and has anyone else had this problem with their electric timers??

I've got a wicked kick ass timer from years gone by. It was made by an electrician and it's a timer off an immersion heater. It's concealed nicely in a water tight box and it's got two double plug sockets comming off it. The actual timer looks like a dial with some little brass nipples on the outer edge. If I remember correctly it has controlled sucsessfully 4000 watts. So with this device there is no need for a seperate contact. I'm sure if you can afford to pay there are some reliable commercial contact timers out there, but if you know a competent electrician who you can trust I guess you will save cash.
