Reflection?

Well I herd white paint reflects light, but i found some florescent orange spray paint, supposed to be reflective like a motherfucker, but i was wondering will it work? Or will it create heat, or reflect light in the wrong spectrum? I was just thinking it might work very well, and I might try it if no one knows.

I don't think anyone has tried it, but I may be wrong...... personally I think you should stick to proven methods.....

It will work but not nearly as well as white. Purple will work better than black, but not as well as white.

Color is simply the spectrum of light reflected back at you. White reflects the whole spectrum, black absorbs the entire spectum.

Orange will reflect less blue spectrum...

The reflective to grab attention and reflective in making a light more efficient are two different thinks. If i was going hunting or riding a bike in the dark, give me the orange anyday....
