reflecting surfaces whats better

REFLECTING LIGHT


i read somewhere that the dull side of tin foil is better than the shinny side .... is this b.s.???

and is milar way more reflective than tin foil or are they about eqaul????

the dull side is best cuz when u use the shiny side it can reflect too much light on the plant/leaves and burn them...

white paint is better than foil
the shiney side can burn, the dull side reflects about 5%
use mylar its about the best.

yeah dude just flat white paint is simple easy and highly reflective.

if you really wanna do it right get mylar. growing with tinfoil is a rookie move!

in my little closet grow i'm using white poster board. its really reflective so it should give my two plants plenty of light.

i hate when ppl talk about using foil to reflect light...white walls reflect light better then foil does.

Yes, but when someone is new to growing, foil is probably the first thing that comes to mind, because that's the stereotype. That's why they're here, to learn :blsmoke:
