Red Hairs At Harvest Question

My NYPD outdoor is a bit over harvest time(almost 6 months old) and the red
hairs have not receded yet. Anyone know if some strains with red hairs don't recede
at harvest time? Is my plant still ready to be harvested? Thanks! : )

All we can do is assume they're ready without being there to view the plants themselves.

What do you mean by, "the red hairs have not receded yet"? I've never heard of that as an indicator for harvest.

No strain of cannabis from seed grows exactly by the book...

Good luck and congrats on the harvest!

yeah, I wouldn't worry at all about the red hairs. If you have a jewellers loupe or good magnifier, take a look at your trichromes. You want to harvest when most of them are milky in color (not clear). If you wait until they are amber you will get more of a couch-lock high.

Yes I have heard here on RLOL from members that red hairs receding is a indicator that the plants are ready or harvest.
Thank you both for your response and I will check for amber. Thank you again!
