im brand new to this i just wanted to clarify this before i spend money and waste my time for nothing

im going to use CFL's for the entire growing..im only gojng to have 1 or 2 plants growing i mainly just want to do this for myself and keep it on the down low. Would 2 of these lights in a let's say 4foot cubed box shining on 2 plants be enough for lighting? or are these not even the right lights all together?

thanks

oh also, it says 26W(100W equivalent) am i looking for 100W(500? W equivalent) or did i get the right light?

thanks for all the help

these are the lights

I think the lights you have are fine... Of course, in my opinion, the more light you have the better... Keep CFL's near your plants during veg (reflective foil in your room helps optimize your lighting as well; white walls are fine too....) Don't let your plants touch the bulb itself or it could burn the leafs of your growing plants FYI

they should be fine for the veg stage but you might want to get a 40w cfl warm white to add for the flowering stage. 94w total will be great for 1-2 plants. top them for bushiness.
here's a pic of a plant that was topped a few weeks ago, instead of one main stem you have 3 coming up the top so when u flower there will be 3 nice colas instead of one.
