Ready to Harvest?? First grow

hi this is my first grow and ive got 2 masterkush/skunk #1 cross

there halfway through their 7th week of flowering, and im not too sure if they are ready to be harvested....some of the buddz look like they are prime and ready to be dealth with

please let me know if you guys think its time in a week or so or if they need much longer

as long as your plant is growing new white pistils that part of the plant is not ready to harvest. one good way to tell when to harvest is to get a $10 radio shack microscope to check the color of the trichomes. when they are 50% amber is usually a good time to chop.

Yeah the good news is those white hairs mean your cola will grow more! Bad news is those white hairs mean your cola will grow more.

"pistils" are what people refer to as "white hairs" they are used to catch pollen from male plants, when all pistils receed into "bud" the plant is basically giving up on becoming pollenated.. thus the bud is done. Also, people use trichs colors to judge when they are done. The more amber, the more of a couchlock effect... The more clear the more of a head high... Your plants will enter its harvest window in 3 weeks.. Do some research..
