Ready for inoculation of my spores....do i need an inoculation chamber?

I know people use inoculation chambers to help keep contaminants away. Is it really necessary? I am ready to inoculate and don't have anything to make into a chamber. Just wondering if it is really that big of a deal.

I boiled them for 90 min (above the water) let them cool over night and kept the tape on. I am going to wear gloves sterilized with alcohol and sterlize my needle.

Should this be enough? I really don't want to have to go out because I live far from any store...

I just put em in boxes in a dark warm spot (I use heating rocks and reptile warmer pads). I don't know exactly what an innoculation chamber is.... I just grow from experience, not a lot of research... so don't listen to me, but that's how I do it ;-P

I wouldn't just let them sit out in the open

if you mean a chamber for when you're actually inoculating.... never heard of that either... just make sure the area is pretty clean... and do what you already said you're doing that's fine.

it's all too easy and low tech.
