RDWC Lemon Skunk from DNA

I only have a few weeks left this season at the latest. I have a journal on another forum by they are having picture problem so im gonna finish it here.

50 gallon RDWC with a 80 liter linear air pump, 2 Black Dogs P2s and a CMH between the BDs. The strain as I stated in the title is Lemon Skunk from DNA Genetics.

Nutrients were the GH trio. Aptus Facilitor, Koolbloom liquid and dry, GH Floralicious, Aptus Final Boost, Botanicare and GH humic acid.

The two plants in the system were a handful as seedlings one was a gnarled mess with three main stems. The other was constantly deficient somewhere, or had rust. It wouldn't surprise me if it caught a cold.

Those days are over now the plants are now just under 3 feet in dia. and flowering nicely. The bases of these plants are over 3 inches thick with the roots filling each 15 gallon tub pretty well.

So it shouldn't be much more than a couple weeks. I had a light issue in the beginning so my count probably won't match up to what the plants have in mind. They can take as long as they like. Gettin' exciting I wanted to share... thanks

Room temp is 74
Reservoir 61
Humid 42
Ph 5.80
PPM IS 1230

I took about 3 inches if water out of it last night because leaf tips were turning a little. It dropped the PPM about 100. I know this is a non issue, i just want to watch how the additive Final Boosts works. Koolbloom Dry is gonna shuffle that deck in a few days

Plants are looking good. Funny how different a strain can be. These two are like distant cousins. The smell on the short budding plant is fruity, like a children's cereal cut with a faint pine. No lemon no skunk at all. Really bummed about that. The plant growing the kolas smells the same with a heavy musky back end. Where's my Lemon, where's my Skunk?! We'll see if 3 weeks of cure will help that out. Trichomes are there, but not record setting. I'
Thinking that will change toward the end

Agreed with res temps :)

Nice set up man good job

Lemon skunk is one of my favorite strains that i have lost lol. I bought some more hoping for the same pheno as before fingers crossed

I've heard plenty of people say 69 is too high. Everyone has an opinion. I just make sure it doesn't go into to 70s. I'm really not too worried about it.

I was really hoping for more Lemon or Skunk phenos from these two. Nothing at all so far.

I'm growing these in search for something like the lemony skunk I had a line on in high shool. Light green, nice skunkiness with a sour citrus taste that hung out after the first hit. These aren't it. Maybe the cure will bring it out. I can't really call these two a loss though

The dna lemon skunk i had from back in the day
Was pure lemon pledge :)

Tasted like lemonheads damn near

So jealous. I want that. These are gonna rock, but not what I asked for. I wonder if Greenhouse is any better. I heard theirs was harder to deal with... lots of DOA seeds. These two weren't exactly a walk in the park. But they outgrew their issues

Just an FYI. Nothing negative can grow or live at or under 69 degrees. I've been running RDWC since about 2008 and have played around a lot with res temps. The colder you get the more they slow down. Your grow looks great I was just offering some info. You can save energy as well by letting things climb a little if you choose to or you can keep on rocking it like you are. Just sharing some info my friend. :leaf:

Well I said I wasn't going to change any settings right now, but my Ph is doing the hula today, so i went ahead and drained it. It's refilling now. I have a 200GPD RO filter filling the 50 gallons, shit takes forever. I have a 300gal replacement filter set, but there' still life in the old ones. It should finish before the lights turn off... no big deal.

The temp thing is a non issue. It rises and falls. You saw it on a down turn. I live in Southern California and grow in a shed without a chiller. It gets warmer.

Your room looks dialed. What are you growing?

Sorry man was busy last night.

On the left in the net i got amnesia haze.
I cant recall if it was royal Queen or sweet seeds.
It was a freebie from the tude.

In the middle i got 2 different ggg mindscapes
Going to pick one for a mom this run.

And on the right unknown bag seed from a grower i know :) i think the two in the middle are a purple cross he has and i think the big ones are from a trainwreck he has but its unknown what pollenated what.

Yeah. Your room looks good. Strain are you growing
Thanks to be honest this run is kinda of a shake the dust off run since i took a year or two off from growing but i kept my plants thats i had left alive :)

This is a new room for me only have like 2 runs in there and i just finshed it out so still getting everything tweaked.

Its also a first run with the light i have so im testing that as well. So getting it dialed too.

Been growing for about 15 years though mostly hydro.

My plants are actually kinda funky on this run
Just because i had them growing in the greenhouse this last summer
And i left them in there in the fall and they almost died (stoner moment ) due to the cold

So i took cuts and monstercropped them as they where starting to bud. The thing that pisses me off is i let my goji og die :(

The plants on the right have literally been going since the fall so im ready as hell to get them chopped and gone unless somthing is speacial
