Raining on plants. Please help

I am thinking about an outdoor grow this summer. This is a dumb question but does rain hurt a plant that has been flowering for 6 weeks or longer. Do the crystals wash off?

No but they'll get moldy if it rains too much and stays humid outside. You will want to spray with a mold inhibitor if the weather is that bad for weeks at a time.
